What causes the white spots on my nails?

They are part of my nails and eventually grow out, many people get them.


Is it actually calcium deficiency, or is that not true?

It's called leukonychia and it's usually due to a mild injury to the nail bed.. but can also be a sign of a zinc deficiency.What causes the white spots on my nails?
It can also be a sign of a nail fungus.
Most likely it is a zinc deficiency.
