Why do i have a white mark on my nail?

calcium or zinc? Why do i have a white mark on my nail?
White spots can be caused from calcium deposits. If you drink a lot of milk its very common to get calcium deposits in your nails. They can also be caused from trauma to the nail such as bumping it against something or smashing your finger. Why do i have a white mark on my nail?
it is caused by a mild zinc deficiency which can be easily corrected by taking a dietary supplement.

and according to our neplease tradition if we get a white mark on our nails we'll get a gift or some new things by family member to add to our locker room heheheheheh:P that's just our belief
basically, its the defficany or lack in calcium AND zinc. Its not just one of these minerals, it can be both, or just one. the only way to tell if your lacking in zinc or calcium, is by going into ur gp, and they will examine you, and tell you which one. just add more nutritional supplements to your diet and they should clear up within months.
lack of calcium, also if u have psoriasis it can be through that also, ask GP
calcium
I have them too! Its calcium.
