White nail polish?

At Walmart or the drugstore, what brand of white nail polish goes on nails PURE white? All the ones i've tried go on kind of translucent, and i need one that is a solid white color because i'm trying to get the french mani-white tips look.





So what brand would you recommend....and how much would it cost? (Preferably an inexspensive one under $5?)White nail polish?

sally hansen has little french mani kits that come with stickers and the white opaque nail polish.
I second the girl who said the Sally Hansen manicure stuff, and I also second the girl who said the CQ brand. Good brands!





Also, if it goes on kind of translucent, let one coat dry and go over it with another coat (or even another 2 coats). Some polishes just need to have 2 or 3 coats before the true color comes out. You're technically supposed to put on 2 coats of color anyway. 1 base coat, 2 color coats, 1 top coat.
